Mohawk Industries, one of the world’s biggest flooring manufacturers, wanted to design a retail interior that would transform the image of its flagship Floorscapes stores.

Principle worked closely with the client to develop the ‘Floorscapes Studio’ concept, which showcased the company’s full range of branded carpet, area and accent rugs, mats and hard surface flooring products.

The finished design blended soft and hard surface flooring, and transformed the stores into fully integrated flooring solutions providers by focusing on the complete project and conveying an image of design sensitivity.

A unique display system with the feel of a shelter magazine was created to reinforce the image and provide customers with unlimited possibilities and ideas for home decorating projects.
