Hardee's

Years after Hardee's reinvented itself with its menu and its overall market approach, their buildings needed a refresh to maintain pace in the super-competitive segment.

The Hardee's Architectural Development team worked in a collaborative effort to develop a unique brand statement that could be easily implemented to differentiate Hardee's from its competition.

Since 2009 Principle has played a part in their success through implementation of some key building elements in over 200 fast food restaurants around the US.

We helped develop a new building look by simply adding a couple of key features, including a modular architectural tower and a bright new mansard roof covering. The result...increased revenue.

The modular tower was developed with many features, including a lighted top-cap, a decorative trellis, down lighting, and of course, Hardee's shooting star.

Plus, the tower serves as a feature location for the logo signage, also provided as part of the package. Variations of the tower are available to fit the front of the building, the entrance, and the drive-thru.

The red standing-seam roof covering was designed to install over the existing shingled mansard roof, reducing costs and installation time.

The modular approach achieves many benefits, including consistent appearance, lower cost, cleaner execution, and perhaps most importantly to a busy QSR operation, it reduced the implementation time and greatly reduced interruption to business.

As a result Hardee's facilities have achieved sales gains in the double digits. Needless to say, Hardees is accelerating the implementation of the Shooting Star Exterior Enhancement.
